Tech Origins Return & Refund Policy

At Tech Origins UAE, we value your satisfaction and want you to shop for refurbished laptops and devices in Dubai & Sharjah with confidence. Our return policy is designed to give you peace of mind when making a purchase.

7-Day Return Policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it.
  • It must be unused and free from new damage, scratches, or alterations.
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging with all included accessories.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Faulty or Damaged Product Notification:
Customers must inspect their order immediately upon delivery. You have 7 days from the date of delivery to notify Tech Origins in writing if the product is damaged, defective, or faulty. If no issue is reported within this 7-day period, the product will be considered received in proper working condition and we will not entertain claims related to initial delivery defects after this timeframe. This does not override applicable warranty coverage.

Restocking Fee & Return Shipping

All approved returns may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. As a refurbished electronics retailer operating on competitive margins, returns involve inspection, testing, secure data wiping, repackaging, and administrative costs. To maintain our pricing structure, a 10% restocking fee may be deducted from eligible refunds.

Free return shipping is only provided if you received the wrong product. Change-of-mind returns, preference changes, or buyer’s remorse returns are subject to applicable restocking fees and return shipping costs.

The restocking fee does not apply if:

  • The wrong item was shipped by Tech Origins.
  • The product is confirmed defective upon arrival and reported within the 7-day notification period.

In cases where a product is confirmed damaged or defective upon delivery (and reported within 7 days):

  • We will first provide a replacement unit of the same model and specifications, subject to availability.
  • If the same model is unavailable, we may provide a laptop of similar specifications and equal value.
  • If no suitable replacement is available, a refund will be issued.

Refunds will only be issued where a replacement cannot be provided.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong product. Our support team will evaluate the issue and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with this policy.

Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Some items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).
  • Discounted items or clearance sales.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items damaged due to misuse, accidental damage, liquid exposure, software-related issues, or unauthorized repairs.

Exchanges

The quickest way to receive a different product is to return the original item (subject to approval). Once processed, you may place a new order for the replacement product from our Tech Origins store.

Refunds

After receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will notify you if your refund has been approved. If approved:

  • Your refund will be processed automatically via your original payment method.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
  • Delivery charges, additional services, and applicable restocking fees are non-refundable.

Important: Tech Origins reserves the right to refuse refunds based on false, misleading, or unverifiable claims. Returns are only eligible when the item received materially differs from what was originally ordered or qualifies under this policy.
